Our unwavering commitment to zero-knowledge processing, client-side security, and international privacy standards.

At RapidWebApp.com ("we", "our", or "us"), protecting user privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational architectural pillar of our platform. This Privacy Policy details how our client-side software functions, our zero-knowledge file handling principles, our use of local browser storage, and our strict compliance with global privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Google AdSense partner guidelines.

1

Zero-Knowledge Client-Side File Processing

Our File, PDF & Media Studio (including tools such as Merge PDF, Compress PDF, Sign PDF, Remove Background, HEIC to JPG, WebP to PNG, and Image to Text OCR) operates under a strict Zero-Knowledge Architecture.

🛡️ Technical Implementation Guarantee: When you drag and drop a PDF, image, or text file into RapidWebApp, the file is parsed exclusively in your web browser's volatile memory (ArrayBuffer / Blob) utilizing client-compiled WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas APIs. Your files are never transmitted across the internet to our servers or any cloud database.

Once you close or refresh your browser tab, the temporary memory buffer is immediately reclaimed by your operating system. We do not retain copies, previews, metadata, or telemetry of your documents.

2

Local Storage & Client Cookies Usage

RapidWebApp utilizes standard HTML5 Web Storage (window.localStorage) exclusively for client-side persistence and enhanced usability:

  • Calculator State: Persisting semester course lists in the GPA Calculator, grade thresholds, and mortgage parameters so you do not lose progress upon refreshing.
  • Recently Used Utilities: Maintaining a localized list of the last 6 tools you visited (rapid_recent_tools) to populate your quick-access navigation.
  • Arcade & Game Streaks: Storing daily completion status and win streaks for offline games (e.g., Daily Math, 2048, Word Guess).
  • User Interface Preferences: Remembering metric versus imperial unit selections, sound toggle states (mute/unmute in metronome or timer), and dark mode settings.

This data is stored purely on your local hard drive and is never broadcasted to our servers. You can clear this information at any moment by clearing your browser cache or clicking the "Reset Data" button inside individual tools.

3

Account & Leaderboard Data

Using 99% of RapidWebApp features requires no account or registration. However, if you voluntarily register an optional account to participate in global arcade leaderboards (such as the Clicks Per Second Test or Daily Math Challenge), we collect only the minimal data required:

  • Public Username: A screen name of your choice displayed publicly on leaderboard tables.
  • Email Address: Used strictly for secure account authentication, password recovery, and verification. We never sell, rent, or spam your email.
  • Hashed Passwords: Passwords are cryptographically salted and hashed using industry-standard algorithms (e.g., bcrypt/Argon2) before storage. Plaintext passwords are never accessible to our team.
  • Competitive Game Scores: Numerical high scores and timestamps submitted explicitly when completing a game.
4

Third-Party Advertising, Google AdSense & Cookies

To provide our suite of 61+ applications 100% free of charge without paywalls or subscriptions, we partner with reputable third-party advertising networks, primarily Google AdSense.

  • DoubleClick / DART Cookies: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to RapidWebApp and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads: Visitors within the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and jurisdictions with strict consent laws are presented with a consent framework allowing them to choose non-personalized ads that do not use cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.
  • Opt-Out Mechanism: You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by navigating to aboutads.info.
5

User Rights Under GDPR & CCPA

Regardless of your geographic location, RapidWebApp respects your fundamental rights concerning personal information:

Right of Access & Portability You may request a machine-readable copy of any account credentials or scores associated with your profile.
Right to Erasure (Be Forgotten) You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and leaderboard scores at any time.
Do Not Sell My Information (CCPA) We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data or document content to data brokers or third parties.
