Every day at UTC midnight, a new secret 6-character mathematical equation is chosen for players worldwide. You are given the target result number and have 6 attempts to deduce the exact hidden calculation.
What rules must my guess follow?
Every guess must be exactly 6 characters long using numbers (0–9) and arithmetic operators (+, −, ×, ÷), must be syntactically valid (no double operators or trailing symbols), and must mathematically evaluate to the daily target number using standard order of operations (PEMDAS / BODMAS).
What do the tile colors mean?
• Green: The number or operator is in the equation and in the correct spot.
• Yellow: The number or operator is in the equation but in a different spot.
• Gray: The number or operator does not appear in the hidden equation.
• Yellow: The number or operator is in the equation but in a different spot.
• Gray: The number or operator does not appear in the hidden equation.
How is the leaderboard score calculated?
Solving the puzzle in fewer guesses awards more points (Guess 1: 1,000 pts, Guess 2: 850 pts, Guess 3: 700 pts, Guess 4: 550 pts, Guess 5: 400 pts, Guess 6: 250 pts). Scores and completion times are synced to the local MySQL phpMyAdmin database.
